SELF HELP GROUP Online System.

Description

Self-help groups are started by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that generally have broad anti-poverty agendas. Self-help groups are seen as instruments for goals including empowering women and youth, developing leadership abilities among the poor and the needy, increasing school enrollment and improving nutrition and the use of birth control. Financial intermediation is generally seen more as an entry point to these other goals, rather than as a primary objective. This can hinder their development as sources of village capital, as well as their efforts to aggregate locally controlled pools of capital through federation, as was historically accomplished by credit unions.

This System focuses on improving their operations especially in  management of finances, record keeping, loans management, and registration of members, using the best Technologies available nowadays.

The system is run locally or it can be hosted online.

Requirents are:

1. Web-server ie. Xampp or Wamp for localhost.
2. A browser esp. Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
3. Mysql Database server.

Installation.

1. Extract the Zip file that you downloaded in your local server or cpanel.
2. Create a database named portal, and import the sql file under the extracted folder.
3. open your browser and run the system.
